Guide to DNS for windows 2003

    Hello.

Can anyone point me to a guide or tutorial on how to set DNS records(ns, a, mx, www) on windows 2003 machines?

    Thanks.

Tell you what to save time I use SimpleDNS. I know it's not free but in the interest of time it may save you some money. It's easy to setup - does most of it for you - and it runs great.

    start, administrative tools, DNS

insert a domain into the forward lookup zones

    insert your SOA
    insert your NS i.e ns1.mydomain.c0m
    insert your NS i.e ns2.mydomain.c0m
insert your MX record i.e. mail.yourdomain.c0m
    add your A records
    add your cnames

    should be good to go

Is it possible to setup the DNS in Plesk? - NS1 and NS2 and assign IP addresses, like it is doen in Cpanel/WHM ?

Or should I use "start, administrative tools, DNS" ?

Please note: I have a right to be wrong
