    apt-get remove ... problem

    hello i have problem with removing postfix...

    # apt-get remove postfix
    Reading Package Lists... Done
    Building Dependency Tree... Done
    The following packages will be REMOVED:
    mailx mysql-server-4.1 postfix
    0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 3 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
    Need to get 0B of archives.
    After unpacking 33.1MB disk space will be freed.
    Do you want to continue? [Y/n]...
    question is.. how to remove only postfix without mysql-server ?

    i have debian-sarge

    You can try

    dpkg -r postfix

    Then apt-get -f install

    See what that does

    works thanks, i found too something like that:

    apt-get --reinstall install postfix (it works when i wanna reinstall software)
