    Custom Title

Alright, so I've been working on getting this Custom User Title thing for over 4 years now. Finally get 550 posts, go to profile, click edit profile....still the same thing. Did it get disabled or did I go blind?

They may have raised the post limit; I'm not sure.

Heh, look how many posts I have! Or, for more "inspiration," take a look at Vito, Aussie Bob, anon-e-mouse, or SWR's post count.

Moved to Feedback. The 550 minimum hasn't changed.

Are you clicking "Save" when you change the custom title? Or are you saying that you don't have the option to change it?

Nah, just not seeing the option.

Tried logging in and logging back out. I'm just not loved

It would be under Profiles --> Edit Profiles, right?

I believe it doesn't actually become enabled until you post your 551st post. I just recently reached 550 and I remember I was really angry, thinking I would be stuck with Web Hosting Evangelist (god I hate that evangelist title!) forever and then I made another post and custom title was enabled. Must be over 550 posts.

I've noticed that some things are disabled until you log out and log back in. I found this out when trying to advertise

I don't see the big deal about reaching 550 posts? You get to write some extra text? It's not a competition you know and post count doesn't really mean anything...except from how many posts you have made.

I think "Premium" members should be able to edit their "Title" automatically. We shouldn't have to wait... **hint**, **hint**

Same with me if we had a post count for just reading I would be in the 1000's.

Just an FYI. Most things run on Crons to update items such as status, rights/permissions, access to certain forums. and they only run about every hour or so. so, sometimes you've just got to wait for the Cron to run.

Custom title is a privelage to those members who have made a good strong contribution to WHT. It's not just a little toy that a member gets after making 5 posts.

I never said anything about 5 posts, I guess 550 is alright.
