Is anyone using Penguinwebhosting.com

I signed up a week ago with Penguinwebhosting.com. I was told they will transfer my site for me in few minites. After 3 days they send me an email, say they are unable to copy my site, without an apology.

I think I am get on a wrong bus, what do you guys think? Anyone currentlly hosting with them?

Kongyang,

Did they provide you any specific reason as to why they couldn't transfer your site on your behalf?

I'd question them a bit deeper before assuming you're on the wrong bus: but I'd be wary of waiting for the last stop to get off.

Kongyang,

Why can't they copy it manually?

They could, but for that, Kongyang can do it himself.

spikez202,

There's this one thing.. you might not know of it called: Customer service.
A lot of companies in the business have some.

That means they attempt to help out their users at anytime they can - why? To keep the users content with the service they're receiving (or lack of it in some cases.. )

I think telling him it'd be migrated in minutes and then waiting 3 days to respond was quite the little waste of Kongyang's time: Don't you agree?

No, I absolutely agree, I'm just saying that if he doesn't want to wait, he could do the same exact thing his host would do and just transfer it manually.

Believe me, I know about customer service and satisfaction. We just spent HOURS transfering literally hundreds of sites from one server to our clients new dedicated server he purchased with us. We accomplished this as well as configured the server (DNS, etc.) at no extra cost.

Yes, the end-user could if they're aware how (just as easily as the host could) but the majority would be absolutely lost.

I think this batch of penguins needs to step it up a notch and help him out.

penguinwebhosting=Terrible host company

Unlimit Bandwidth=100GB BW(in fact)
No money back guarantee
Late, slow, delay email support
Horrible server overloading

Strongly recommend everyone DO NOT go with them. I have with them once(1 month), that's enough. I wish I have never host with them, nightmare.
