    Best Windows Mailserver?

Just curious, I'm starting to poke around at windows..and from my reading, there's quite a few options for windows mailservers, yet no definite "best".

I hope I compiled enough options, I'd love to hear comments too.

    Thanks guys.

"Best" depends on what you want to do and what features are important to you.

Mailenable Standard does a great job for many folks and is free. Merak mail is very powerful and quite cost-effective. Others will swear that for really high mail throughput what you need is Imail. I've used all 3 and each has its plus points and minus points.

So when you decide what you want to do in terms of features and scale, you'll have a handle on choosing the right server for you.

I tried everyone of them except Modusmail, my favourite is still Merak, fast and easy to configure. But I think smartermail is catching up quite well and is value for the money.
