    Well here is my reply

ModSecurity is an open source intrusion detection and prevention engine for web applications. Operating as an Apache Web server module, the purpose of ModSecurity is to increase web application security, protecting web applications from known and unknown attacks

The problem is the perl script where it has a prob with the mod_security addon module, it can't connect to the DB.

So fix the script. Maybe that script shouldnt be running in the first place , maybe its one of the many exploits that may be running on ur server.

If you installed mod_sec with easyapache3 on cPanel 11 and you get this error, check password at /etc/cron.hourly/modsecparse.pl and you can adjust password of modsec user through whm -> phpMyAdmin -> privileges
