I need a new server, what do you reccomend? - Has anyone heard of JHservers?
I am currently running a unmetered bandwidth sever from servermatrix.com but it is extremly slow and they wont let me upgrade it. So I am thinking of going to jhservers.com Has anyone heard of them? I think they are failry new but i was wondering if they are dependable, reliable, and any other things i should know.
I heard they have a lot of downtime, and customer support isnt too good.
Also what do you guys recommend? Does anyone have any specials? Here is what i need:
I am going through 70gb-85gb a day on profilehumor.com. I need at least to get a 20mbps, 80gb hardrive, 1536mb ram, 2.4 - 2.8 ghz unmetered server. I think once I get a new server I will hti around 100GB daily or more. So i would need to be able to handle this much bandwidth as well.
Please help!!

Jhservers is a reseller of HiVelocity... so there isn't any difference between the two

Hey guys, stay on topic
On a side note just to correct you, we've been successfully hosting web sites since summer of 2003. Though under the JHServers brand it has not quite been a full year yet.

If you're planning on doing 100GB/day, you should be looking at something closer to 50Mbps unmetered.
Cheers,
Sam

Well, depending on bursting, 20 mbps may or may not be enough. But I agree, a bigger cushion always secures a fast web site even during peak times (plus with 50 megs you'd have room to grow).
