    Unhappy website monitoring services

I haven't been here for a while so please forgive if you've already discussed. I have 60+ sites up. Using ReadyHosting, Value Reseller, and DIY. I think DIY is defunct so moving those sites over to Value Reseller. Problem is one of their servers has been down for several days. I didn't know it. (family emergency).
Can anyone recommend a good monitoring service for those times I'm out?

There's a banner ad rotating on WHT for a monitor.. See if you can catch it.

host-tracker.com is good considering it's free. In other words, it can't hurt to use it.

I know for certain that DIYHosting isn't defunct.

Nobody pays a high sum of money for a successful company and then lets it go defunct a few months later.

I can't answer many questions about DIYHosting nowadays, but I do know that they have no intention of making DIYHosting "defunct".

I second hyperspin and host-tracker. Both are good, I find using them both is a good set of "checks and balances"

Are you looking for something that will just send an email, or do you want more advanced features, such as a page everytime an outage occurs?

I personally use www.websitepulse.com they have a nice service! You can customize in a number of ways to fit your monitoring needs.
