flash help needed!

I'm putting together a new site for my friends band. he needs it done within a week or 2, so I'm really pushing myself with it, but I ran into a problem with the menu bar. we had someone else do the graphics for it, but they aren't very good with flash. I was planning on just using a javascript rollover, but when I got to that part of the site.. the highlighted images all slightly overlap each other and there's no way to fix that.it would be extremely difficult and complex to do it with javascript, so it has to be flash.

in short: graphics are done already, just need some help putting the menu image into flash with a simple rollover animation. it's probably less then 10 minutes of work, but flash isn't my thing so I can't do it myself. could someone please help me out with this quick. :-)

very nice, but for the graphics we have for the menu, it just needs a rollover button type of thing. the words in the graphics just turn white and turn on an angle a little bit. would you want to help me out with it?

You could do a engine search on "flash button rollover" and take one of the tutorials. It wouldn't take more than an hour to figure out. Or use the flash tutorial that comes with the program, which is probably the clearest.

IF you already have the graphics made for each button, cut them up in photoshop and import each one and make a symbol button. In each symbol button import each state (on off rollover) and then goto your scene(main movie) and drag the buttons onto there and line them up the way you like. Make the main movie the cut out size of the menu bar area. Treat the flash movie like a huge graphic in the webpage/website.

Hope that helps.

PS. It would help others to see what you are needing help with if you post it or have a link to it.
