    * Requirement for Technical Support Representative For ASAP.

    WebHostingBuzz is a dynamic and fast-growing web hosting company. A requirement has arisen to add to a member of staff to our technical service team. We place an extremely high value in QoS hence our stringent requirements to work for us.

    The candidate will:

    *Be of at least 18 years of age.
    *Must have his/her own bank account where we can wire funds.
    *Be able to work 10pm 8am EST - 6 days a week. You can choose your day off not necessarily a sunday.
    *Have excellent written and spoken English skills with the ability to communicate efficiently, politely and helpfully through multiple mediums concurrently.
    *Be hard working and self-motivated who uses their initiative to resolve problems.
    *Must have the ability to attend to 30 + tickets per day during shift times.
    *Attitude is the most important. We need honest people that can give us their best. We need people who can treat WHB as their own. We do not want smarta** people who act clever on the attitude part. We need people who are smart with working on computers. We need a candidate whos life starts from a computer and they would probably want to take one to their grave as well.

    Required skills:

    *3+ years of Cpanel/WHM in shared, reseller and dedicated environments.
    *3+ years of Linux experience, preferably from a RedHat background.
    *Excellent understanding of the core software used in the Cpanel environment. You MUST be comfortable in compiling software from source as well as editing configuration files to resolve complex problems. We are not looking for someone who can install software through rpms the ability to compile from source is a must.
    *Have a solid grasp of networking and dns.
    *Ability to solve script related issues is a plus.

    We are not going to label it with a level 2 or level 3 or anything fancy like that. Every company has different environment of working. If you know your skills then come forward.

    Please note again that we need an experienced system admin who knows his job. We are no position to teach anyone what to do or how to do. We do not want "im learning candidate". If you know your job and that is to fix broken linux machines then contact us else do not waste your time writing an email as it will go straight to our bin box.

    You might be asked to work for two companies.

    Salary is based on experience but an attractive package will be made. The chosen candidate will be eligible for involvement in other areas of WHB and related interests should they prove their worth through continuous hard work and dedication.

    A resume with references is required and references will be checked. An interview will be conducted where you will be asked a number of customer service and technical questions related to the above. If you doubt your ability in any of the above areas, please do NOT apply.

    Are outsourcing firms allowed to contact you regarding this position?

    I didn't see anything regarding this within your post unless I have missed it. Our technicians are highly qualified and work from our downtown Toronto office.

    Sorry we are not looking for outsourced solutions. We are looking for a qualified and very experienced linux server administrator that can work full time.
