Requesting tips and comments on vps

I am starting to look into the VPS market for several server intensive scripts.

    I need these specs minimum:
    1GB Burst RAM
    256MB RAM guaranteed
    8GB Disk Space
    120GB Monthly Transfer
    Dedicated IP
    cPanel/WHM (latest edition) or Plesk
Preferrably a billing script such as clientexec
    Your own name servers
    Unlimited domains

    My budget is about $45-60
I'm interested in the following companies, but I'm open to suggestions.
    powervps.com
    amerihosting.com
    solarvps.com
    eleven2.com

Any comments, suggestions, and tips are welcome and appreciated!

Can you manage your own server?
If not, check out Steadfast Networks. They will be able to set you up with something in your price range and help you make sure it says healthy .

www.dehe.com fits all of your needs, and more. Even with their 'starter' package. The only thing missing is clientexec.

I've been a customer for a couple of months and they're excellent. Managed too...

Meh, it's WHT's issue. They forgot to upload the icons, and I've notified them twice. Anyway I took it out of my profile since I did recieve a response from SWR, and you really didn't need to post what you did... sortof a waste of typing.

I've been very pleased with Amerihosting so far (been using them for about 10 days now). They even had a 2-5 hour turn around on tickets issued on the weekend!! Amazing!!

I don't consider myself experienced in VPS hosting, but a 2-5 hour turn around doesn't seem all that great on a VPS...

The tickets weren't emergency requests, just firewall permission requests so 2-5 hours from the time I submitted the request is acceptable to me.

I'm with powerVPS right now and so far everything is excellent. Haven't been with them long enough to give more detailed comments, but their turn around on tickets seems to be faster than 2-5 hours

I am also with amerihosting.com and been using them for about 10 days!

About the tickets, I confirm 2-5 hours! I dont know if it is all that great on a VPS but considering I had bad experiences with support (no support) from "reseller hosting" expiriences, I am very happy with them.

I've sent about 5 to 10 tickets in first days and they always gave support including references to forum posts where I could learn and clarify some issues.

The thread starter has probably found what he was looking for by now, so this thread is now closed.
