Try to wrap your heads around this one. In the past week my raq4i mail has gone completly nuts.
Sparatic mail users on sapratic sites have been working and not working. First noticed when for no appairent reason certin people couldnt check thier mail with outlook. First conclusion was something wrong with outlook because I could still send and recieve on 3 sites. The users with the problem could still send and recieve via openmail (wich I recently installed before this happened). Then it started to happen to me, no reason, could not find the error any where with sendmail, qmail,imap, ect. Further attempts at restarting services,rebooting, deletion and recreation of users and site, the same problem.
As a last attempt to solve the problem I restored the server (only had 5 sites on it). Now after the restore I managed to get everything set back up. Then I reinstalled openmail and within a few hours I was having the same problem
Reinstall #2, I get thru the initial setup and come to my site management screen and it's telling me now that imap and pop3 services never came up
Needless to say I am on #3 now and I have know idea whats going on. Could this possibly be a hardware issue???
