    maximum length of textarea?

Hi all. I have a client who is saying that data keeps getting cut off when they enter a large amount of text into a textarea. The data type it's getting stored in is TEXT which seems like that isn't the issue. I can't seem to find anything mentioning a maximum amount of data in a textarea or for a form submission. Any help is appreciated!

Oh yeah, php is the language being used to store the data into mySQL.

    Thanks,
    Justin

TEXT columns have a limit of 65535 characters. Try chaing to a MEDIUMTEXT column instead.

The previouse comment should be applied to the field in the database. I think you can also make it LONGTEXT.

I don't know about the HTML element.
