Questions
What do I need in order to use Credits Cards, other than payapl, on my site?
All I have now is paypal and I am losing customers. I do about $1,500 in sales monthly with payapl and will do more if I have other Credit Card Processing means.
How many new items do I need to get?
SSL Certificate?Thinking about godaddy.com for now.
Merchant Account??? Do I use my bank or another one?
Payment Gateway??? Authoize.net, any other suggestions.
Thanks to all....This will be for my new store when it opens on Jan. 1st, 2006

Hey John,
Good move getting away from paypal
Most hosting companies offer a shared SSL for free, but you can get your own at godaddy, they are pretty cheap there.
Merchant account most always come with payment gateway.
Try http://ubcnow.com for that. Authorize.net is a good choice.

I would highly suggest getting ahold of CDGCommerce on this forum, I have asked him a few questions and the amount of knowledge never ceases to amaze me. They offer full merchant solutions at some pretty darn affordable prices (especailly when you catch them on a special).
