    Account with no domain

Is it possible to create an account with no domain with WHM? For example, we have reseller.com and someone who wants to create mysite. Is it possible to have his separate account as reseller.com/~mysite or mysite.reseller.com?

    Yessirry.

When you create the account in WHM, just type the Domain name as

    mysite.reseller.com (I think that's your example, right?)

Then just go through the regular paces.

Thanks for the reply. Hmmm... another silly doubt... if I have site2.com hosted under reseller.com, can I use WHM to make site.site2.com using that? Or there's a conflict in the permissions?

If the above doesn't work, would it work if I placed site2 as a parked domain of reseller.com? I'm planning on hosting some sites for small sports associations for free and I doubt they'll want a domain name... but my main domain doesn't really "sound" like sports (has a "technologies" in it ).

Best thing you can do is try and see.. If not, reverse it, rethink it, and try it.

    Possible with Windows

It is possible to do this with HELM Extensions using HELM Control Panel under Windows 2003.

There is an option called temporary URL.

I'm not aware about Linux servers.

    You've exited my territory

Let's see if someone can help with that.
