How to integrate domain whois into design

Hi

can you please explain me how to integrate domain whois into my design ( like GoDaddy and similar comapnies )
I have whois on my web site but it is under the link.Whenk you click on the link it will open another subpage where is whois engine located.
I want now to have on index page just with field to type in domain name and filed for extension and ofcourse Submit button.
How to deal with this and where to get script for it since the one I have and some other I have tryed, they are like stand-alone scripts with their own subpages.Like I said I want to integrate it on index.

Thank you in advance!

I have setup MWhois and integrated it into a page.

Other than that, you would probably have to build a screen scraper or hook into the http://whois.sc api.

I already have mwhois and that is not what I am looking for.
How to make that screen scraper???

P.S If you have seen at GoDaddy and Yahoo for example how it looks when you search domains, I would like to have something similar or same if possible???

Tnx

The only thing MWhois doesn't have is the suggestions for other domains when yours is taken.
I'll PM you the link to mine so you can see how it integrates into the site.

Building a screen scraper is not a trivial process and may be frowned upon by the site you are scraping. If you are interested, start here http://www.troywolf.com/articles/php/class_http/
