I was just wondering what kind of knowledge you would need to set up a windows dedicated server?
What would you need to install for the basis of selling shared accounts?
Is it worth buying a fully managed dedicated server? and if anyone knows any links could they please post?
Apologes for posting twice.
I think it is worth it to get management in my opinion. Most of them run under $100 month extra (in addition to the dedicated server) and it is nice to have someone to get opinions from and be there in an emergency. Either get a managed sever or hire a management company, its a good way to go.
Yes if you don't have any experience in the area I'd definately recommend a management service. I would use Plesk for shared hosting - it's quite good.

If you need to ask, you need management.
Save $100 can cost you 1000-10000 in the future.
Would you recommend a dedicated to a VPS? and what are the main differences between a managed VPS and a managed dedicated server?
I'm looking by myself for Management Company for Windows servers ! Who can suggest decent USA based Windows servers management company OR Managed Windows Servers company ?
Its a shameless self plug, but so few companies do Windows management, you might wait a while for a response.
