We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
Level 3 Support Engineers:
The ideal hours would be as follows: early morning to afternoon (first shift) and early afternoon until evening (second shift), times are EDT. We need to fill our weekend shifts first, with the ability to choose the days during the week to augment weekend hours. You would be responsible for handling escalated issues from our NOC staff as well as customer ticket responses which are typically Level 2 and Level 3 tickets.
Candidate(s) can work from remote location(s), but must have reliable Internet access and be responsible and available during hours of employment that are agreed upon.
We're looking for individuals who are self starters, and have prior support experience with an ISP or Hosting Provider. If you require micro-management; this isnít the job for you.
PowerVPS/Defender Hosting engineers are people who do not mind answering the "easy tickets", but also have no problem resolving level 2 or 3 support issues. We do not need level 1 engineers or outsourced firms please.
We're specifically looking for candidates who have the following experience:
Linux OS and applications (apache, PHP, MySQL, IPtables, etc)
Security applications (APF, BFD, etc)
Windows OS and applications (MSSQL, Plesk, RDP, etc)
cPanel, Plesk, and DirectAdmin (or the ability to learn the quirks of each panel)
Fantastico, ClientExec, and RVskins
Virtuozzo VPS Linux and Windows experience is a major plus
Strong english skills
With our new Windows offerings, we're especially in need of techs who have a strong background in both Linux and Windows.
We are looking to hire one full-time engineer (preferably 2-10pm ET shift) as well as one part-time engineer (2-4 days a week for 8 hour who has flexable hours (requires weekend availability) to help fill schedule holes..
