When are tickets going to be one sale?

I am trying to get ready to make plans and I was wondering if there is any new updated hotel information or information on when tickets will be available and what type of discount if any is going to be put in place for those of us that buy tickets way ahead of time.

Also if you guys are getting us a good rate at the mirage what do you think the typical turnout will be for that? I would like to be around everyone if possible so we can sit back and relax a little but if everyone is going to be all over the place and the mirage turnout is not going to be too impressive I will just grab a cheap $40 room on the strip somewhere.

    Thanks

I don't have a firm date yet because we're still finalizing some of the hotel reservation information, but we're hoping to have both registration for HostingCon and reservations available in the next 2-4 weeks. The room rate will be $139 a night at the Mirage for the group discount.

The prices that you see on hostingcon.com (http://www.hostingcon.com/attend/register/) are the accurate prices and the dates the prices go up, etc. We will also be sending out discount codes to those that attended last year that will give an additional discount if used by a certain date. We haven't finalized the plans for this yet, but I *think* it's going to be an additional $75 off Full Registration. There will also be discount codes available through our sponsors.

I think we'll get a pretty good turnout on rooms at The Mirage. It's a beautiful hotel and casino and it will be very convenient for attending HostingCon and for networking with others if you're in the convention hotel. You are, of course, welcome to make your own arrangements but I've always found that I personally prefer to stay in the convention hotel when possible.
