google adsense - not honest

I sort of think from using google-adsense for a while.. they modify your banners.. when I first started I earn a lot more but now I earn less and less. I also notice click amounts are about the same but the payout per click drops dramatically. Anyone else notice this as well?

Hey there renegadeavenger,

I've seen the same exact thing happen on my site: http://www.myspacetweaks.com/

I can't understand how it can be the same exact amount of clicks, or more, and decrease in price. What's up with that?

Ugh, it's quite frustrating, but I guess there's nothing to be done about it..

Take care.

Yes, guys, it has to do with how much the advertisers are paying - something over which Google has absolutely no control.

Thread moved to Web Hosting Lounge.

If Google Adsense doesn't work anymore, use another network or deal directly with (potential) advertisers. There are 0% chances to make Google listen when you're a small fish in this big 'net pond.

This has nothing to do with the period of the year, I assure you. Besides, on the whole, advertisers are forced (due to high competition) to pay more and more per click.

But threads about advertising on your site belong in Web Design and Content.

Apologies to renegadeavenger for the confusion, but this one is moving again...
