Angry Try to escape if you can!

I have several domains with name.com and I'll try to transfer them all out!

Very bad domain control panel! I did a "mistake" and ordered Hidden Whois service for one of my domains and there's no option to disable it... I sent them an email regarding this issude and another email complaining about their poor control panel, but all is in vain until now!

I'll stay away if I were you!

I've just sent an email to support@domainsite.com.

    I'll keep my fingers crossed

I doubt domainsite will do anything regarding name.com concerns. They'll probably
try to keep their respective issues separate.

Aren't there free services which give free international call access? I found a few
but never really tried them yet.

Try to telephone but no reply

I've tried to phone them but no reply.
It's cost me some money but I was really annoyed with their services.

I'm from Vietnam and from my IP, I can not login to My Account. And all the pages on website is forward to 404.jsp which is displaying a 404 error.

Now, I think about finding a new domain provider to transfer all my domains to. But does the transfer procedure required contact with the current Provider, means Name.com who is dead right now?

The links you posted above work fine for me. Are you sure it is not a local ISP issue?

Still no answer from neither name.com nor domainsite.com!

The problem is that I've pruchased Hidden Whois service for one of my domains with name.com and there's no option to disable it in the control panel they offer!!! That's why I can't transfer the domain out!

    I'm stuck there!

maybe cause its still weekend ?

hidden whois should forward the email that goes to the protected email in whois to your email not stop it, so you still can transfer.

    Dear Bashar,

I tried sending a test email to whoisprotected@name.com (the email address at the whois record for my domain with them) to test the forwarding.

    Here's the outcome:
    ---
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- <whoisprotected@name.com>
(reason: 511 sorry, no mailbox here by that name (#5.1.1 - chkuser))

----- Transcript of session follows -----
    ... while talking to mx0.domainsite.com.:
    >>> RCPT To:<whoisprotected@name.com>
<<< 511 sorry, no mailbox here by that name (#5.1.1 - chkuser)
    554 5.0.0 Service unavailable
    ---

    So, you see, I'm stuck!

I will file a complaint against them at internic.com if the issue is not solved in the next couple of days.

    Unfortunately, YES

Do you think internic.com can do something about it?

if your name was showing you might be able to transfer it using fax form with some government ID

internic a.k.a ICANN takes ages to resolve matters, your best option is to contact domainsite.com, they usually respond in few days

is the name expiring or what?

A fixed email address for all names? How would they possibly be able to forward that to the correct destination?

It doesn't! As I've said earlier, I get an error message when sending an email to the address listed on the Whois record of my domain.

Bashar, the domain is not expiring soon, but I want to make sure that my domains are in good hands. Wouldn't you?

manual whois protection just like moniker's they use their information and manually forward them.

not like the dynamic ones that enom uses changes from time to time

jerjo, yeah i know i mena its ok to wait for few days if its not expiring NOW and you want to change it urgently.
