Where to find samples of intro music for my site?

I'm just curious about something. I just had a website designed for my new business... the website has a tropical caribbean theme to it with parrots, palm trees e.t.c.

I want to add about 5 seconds of some caribbean intro music on my site. Only 5 seconds of intro music when you first visit my homepage since I know many people find music on sites annoying. Isn't there some place where I can listen to samples of different mucis or sounds so I can pick which music sound I want?

I'm very picky and wanted to hear a few diffferent ones and pick my favorite... how can I do that or can I not do that?

Thanks.

Might be what your looking for.

Best bet is to do a search on Google for royalty free music, or:

If you can think of a song title, chances are pretty good that a Google search for a MIDI file for it will turn up something. Finding a 5 second segment could be harder.
Caribbean theme? How about
http://www.macknack.com/midivb1_files/dbehappy.mid
although it is much longer than 5 seconds.

Thanks for the help. I'll check those out.

However I'm not a guy. Second, I think it makes the site more interesting to have 5 seconds of intro music especially for the tropical caribben site I have. Each to his own.

P.S- Disgruntled... errrr.... thanks for the sample. I listended to that but that's way off from what I want

www.flashkit.com - they have many freeware/linkware sound effects and background music stingers available.

KI-ChrisE, no biggy. Doesn't bother me. I was just pointing it out

But what do you guys think of this music. I LOVE smooth jazz and was thinking of playing this music on my site. If you visit this URL and scroll down to CD sampler:

http://www.kifm.com/station/sampler2005.cfm
(listen to the #3 song called "Puerto Banus")

Who here likes that music?

Wait, do you guys like the #3 song or the #15 song called "Soul Temptation" better? I think the #3 song is better between the two?

I have a favorite jazz song that's better than the above two but I forgot the name of it so I'm unable to find it

Hey Juliet:

I'm confused. Are you looking for a carribean intro or smooth jazz? I have some 5 second clips in my library that I'm happy to share with you if you like them.

(Wonders aloud if I can upload a wav as an attachment in post?)

Vito

Hi,

I was actually confused myself. I thought I wanted caribbean music but now would rather have smooth jazz music

I really love the #3 song but also have another favorite. I can't believe I forgot the name and artist so I'm unable to find it.

Sure, if you have any jazz clips I'll hear them if it's not too much trouble for you to upload them

Edit: But I think I'm just going to go with the #3 song, do you like that song or do you think it's only ok?

Are you looking for just 5 second clips or longer?
