Arrow Windows Live Messenger will replace msn msgr 7.5

Well Microsoft will be replacing all time favorite Msn messenger with rebranded Windows Live Messenger (WLM). It is still under beta testing and they have put in a lot of addons such as

    1. Voice calling
    2. File sharing
    3. Integration with office 2003
    4. A few more unknown additions

Some screenshots i got from mess.be

It's essentially the same thing though - they've just rebranded it.

Actually microsoft has a program called live communication server that you can purchase for your domain, it allows you to communicate over the network without going to an external server, so you can restrict the people your employees are talking to, it is basically the same thing as that but appears to be in a more public form.

I love MSN so much more than AIM. Glad to see it looks even nicer (which is all that matters on a chat client...)

Yeah, forget functionality, connectivity, reliability, compatability. Nothing is better in a chat client than the look, riiiight.

I've tried this and even though it's in Beta they have the look pretty much setup. I'll tell you one thing, im sticking to 7.5. This WLM 8.0 doesn't look all that in my opinion.

They may force you to move though if it's got any new security features.
