Talking

ASP,PHP, and Java

Hey everbody,
I'm new to this ASP thing ( Actually, I haven't any experience in coding it), PHP (same, no experience coding whatsoever), and Java, which I HAVE coded in, and seeing as how fast replies are here, I wanted to throw my three topics into one thread. Ok, first of all, I would like get some more info on ASP (and JSP) and PHP. Just like what the are, and how I can learn them. Second and most importantly, I have a password applet I am attempting to create but it isn't going anywhere. Can I get some help? I want the layout to be JUST like a JavaScript version, but in applet form. If someone could help me, dat would be geat!

As far as PHP goes, search this board, there are a lot of threads on where to get started with PHP. But if you are too lazy to do that , which I would be, here are some starts:

www.phpbuilder.com and ww.zend.com great site for all PHP help.
www.devshed.com they can be helpful for both PHP/ASP or whatever other language you want to know, as is http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/

As far as books go, go to Barnes and Noble and pick up any of the Wrox "Big Red" books on PHP, they are really really good.
