Question Adding a forum to website..what else but php & SMF

I am VERY new to all this but I think this is right place to ask for help, I hope. With the package I have I can have either phpBB or SMF as a forum layout, I simlpy wondered if you can get others from and where to get them?
Basically asking if there's any forums that look a bit more 'special', or am I just asking too much? I'm a creative person, forums can be so un-loved looking
Thankyou very much for any help in advance, you intelligent peeps

I have a few phpbb forums and I really like them. I would suggest adding some extra security to them though. I had mine get hacked a few times, but after I did a few things I never had a problem again. (Knock on wood)

Sorry, but what "package" do you have? Do you mean something like Fantastico?

I think that http://www.phpbbxs.com/index.php offers some extra secured (or just "secured" ) version of PHPBB.

However, I have installed SMF recently and I must say that I have been completely satisfied. I guess that you would love it, too, especially if you have enough skills to modificate SMF-layout as you like.

I have Fantastico yes, and I was thinking of SMF rather than php, the two that come with my package.
I will try out that web addy you suggested though and let you know how it all goes, though still interested in modifying the forum layouts to look bit different.
