This looks as good a place as any to start: http://www.phphelp.com/article/3p1.php

    Good Luck!

[edit] Except its a li'l old... Ignore where it says to name the files .php3 -- Just name 'em .php and you should be good! [/edit]

You dont 'make' a site with php, you use php to generate dynamic html content. It is convenient to separate out the header/footer areas of your site as a primitive 'template engine'.

What exactly do you wan tto do? If there is nothing dynamic about it, then why do you want to use PHP in the first place?

The best thing to do is:

    1. Read some tutorials on PHP, perhaps some books, then create the pages yourself
    2. Higher a professional PHP programmer to do your site for you

Depends if you have more time or money to spare.

What part of the site do you want to make 'dynamic' it seems you are confused as to what you want PHP to do for you.
