    Clock 5 min back!

    Hello,

    i have a problem with the time of my server it is 5 minutes back, in Whm-->Server Time i have try to change it with different setting but it is always 5 min back

    how can i fix?

    Does WHM maybe automatically synchronise with a time server? That would explain the time constantly being reset to something else.

    umm i have try to resync it with:

    rdate -s rdate.darkorb.net

    hwclock --systohc

    but i am always 5 min back!

    how about an hourly cron entry:

    ntpdate time.nist.gov

    Experienced OpenStack Admin For Hire

    like they said, just synchronize with a NTP server.

    umm strange! this happend on all my servers that use RHEL3 and 4 but not for centos servers...!!

    anyway where i can get ntpdate? i dont have it on my servers

    yum install ntp
