Question Apache, MySQL, PHP, Exim settings for Dual Processor servers

    Hi there!

Are there any special directives in settings for Apache, MySQL, PHP and exim for dual processor servers?

We have just changed our server from single celeron to dual xeon and want to tune it up to work in optimum rate.

    Thank you!

Just make sure you're running SMP kernel, you don't need anything special for user apps.

For mySQL, feel free to up the thread_concurrency up past the default. On my DP servers that run mySQL, I typically have that number set to 8 for starters (Num. Proc*4). On my DP Xeon (800FSB) server, I have it set to 16 and it runs fine.
