I hear NAC are dropping LINX peering so pings could well change. My recommendation is for DedicatedNOW, I've been with them now for around 3yrs, completely satisfied with the service and good UK/Europe connectivity.

If you want something close as possible to Europe then east coast is the spot.

"Stable network like TP/SM" <--- Is that a joke?

We haven't had network related downtime with The Planet in ages. You better believe they have a stable network

I'm glad to hear it but according to their own forums they sure spend alot of time doing either "routine maintanence". or "Router re-configurations"...

But either way it wasn't a great example IMO. There are dozens of providers that have much better stability then TP/sm. Try not to read into it too much.

Yes, TP/SM have many maintenance but I don't remember when ,y server was down or unreacheable during 1 of that maintaince - they just notify you providing high level service.

Thanks for help.

Thanks for the feedback Alex. Notify or not if the server is down it's not stable. I have machines in several locations across the US with over a year uptime. Not one blip of any network issues. That my friend is stability

But either way if you are looking for a server that is close as possible to Europe take a look at Hudson Digital, CRNC, Voxel, Gnax on the east coast which is close as your getting before you get wet
