    RedHat Enterprise Upgrade

    Hello,

    i have 4 servers that use RHEL3 can i upgrade to RHEL4?

    I'm pretty sure you can, you can probably search on google for the tutorial or find a tech to do it if you're not familar with it.

    IIRC this would be a very difficult upgrade to do remotely. It can be done (I heard Rack911 created a great process of doing this that they offer for a small fee) but it is not for the faint of heart.

    You are moving from a 2.4.x kernel to a 2.6.x kernel and there are quite a few other major changes between the two. Why is it you feel the need to upgrade?

    It is not possible to upgrade from 3 to 4; you must order an OS reload with RHES 4.

    Its possible to move from redhat hat 3 to centos 4 remotely.

    i dont want move from RHEL3 to centos 4 but from RHEL3 to RHEL4
