    fsockopen() Problems

    I`ve been writing a script which uses the fsockopen() function, and it was working fine up until a few hours ago.

    Now it seem to not connect, or return the info, doesn`t return any errors either.

    I`ve checked the function is available with:

    if(function_exists('fsockopen')) {
       echo "fsock functions are available.";
    } else{
       echo "fsock functions are not available.";
    What would stop it working?

    Is there anything server side that would stop it suddenly?

    I`ve fixed this now as it was a firewall issue
