WHT Addiction - How many of you are suffering from this addiction

    Hey Guys,

I was just curious as how many of us over here are addicted to surf webhostingtalk atleast once a day.

Remember I am talking about ADDICTION where you just cant resist your self from browsing wht ATLEAST once a day !

For me.. whenever I connect to the internet from any part of the world, I tend to automatically put the url webhostingtalk.com in the browser.

Hence, as an average I check this forum atleast 3 - 4 times a day.

Maximum for me has no limits..

Exception are the mods as it is their responsibility.
But I would like to hear from the normal visitors/members over here

    Regards,
    Sam

I don't have an addiction, just a mind that wants to teach people, and learn from others. I reload my profile page, that contains all my subscribed forums and threads, every 5 minutes or so, certainly at peak times.

The first step to a cure is admitting you have a problem. Looks like I haven't taken that first step yet.

The reason I do this though, is I hate having to catch up on 10 threads in each forum. It is just so time consuming, and often boring. Once it becomes boring, I lose interest, and therefore usually quickly flick through pressing the "Mark all forums read" button. By reloading every 5 minutes or so, there are usually just one or two new replies in each forum. It is a lot easier to keep on top of.

After hitting "new posts", I find myself worrying that I've missed a few new ones while reading the current ones....I suppose that qualifies as addiction.

There's so much always going on, and so many tips and tricks I learn here that I can't help wanting to come back. Valuable resource.

Ever seen the forums that show how long a user has been logged in on?

Wouldn't like to see that figure for some WHT users

I actually took it off one of my forums. I think members were devastated at how long they were spending on the forums and it put them off

I browse through 8-12 of the forums here about 2-6 times/day. Then again, I am home all day because of an injury, so I have lots of time and not a damn thing to do.

I'm not addicted to WHT at all.

When my printer in the mornings prints of a list of new threads from WHT, I'm just grateful it did.

When my toaster imprints WHT threads into the toast, again, I'm just grateful.

As for my WHT viewing room, well, everyone has one of those, don't they.

Then it comes to my WHT hand towels, you know the ones, the towels that show you the latest WHT threads on them. And as you wind them through the roller, the next thread appears.

So, that's about it. So I'm not addicted.

I guess you were trying to say 8 - 12 hrs of the day.. If it is so, then I would rather call it a strong addiction.

8 - 12 hrs is almost 1/4th or 1/2nd of your total day time..

Just say for an average person, if he sleeps 8 hrs per day then the remaing is 16 hrs and out of which you spend 8 to 12 hours so a rough figure is you just spend 4 - 5 hrs for yourself

Well anyway .. goodluck with your health and may your injury heal soon.

Yes that is what I call addiction .. Its just that you explained the logical dictionary meaning.

Its 4.41am as per my Indian time zone, and I am browsing these forums.

Not sure what and how do I do it ... but I just cannot resist and yes I am addicted to WHT

Actually, despite my sarcastic post earlier - if I can't sleep for ages - I eventually get up and look at WHT.

LOL I was about to comment that your earlier post was a bit sarcastic ... I think I caught it

But you replied just before I could

Well what I think is that we all have to admit that we are heavily addicted to WHT..

Can we find or rename this addiction ?

Something like whtigeria or whtises or some similar name that would explain this

    lol, just kidding

I am trying to type www.google.com but I typed www.webhostingtalk.com

    Am I addicted already?

Mod or Not, I am usually here to read some discussion or help someone... but most of the time, I've learned from WHT. Different people, different opinion, different character...

It build me, it inspire me...

So, maybe I spent 4-5 hours a day in WHT? Not sure yet... I never count...

Yeah... don't judge my posts. I am reading most of the time :-)
