    Creating Nameservers

I rented a dedicated server and want to host my website on it. THe server uses Web Host Manager/cpanel. I went in and made 2 name server names ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com. then assigned them ip addresses. when i go to my registrar to try to point mydomain.com at the name servers i get this error--- We were unable to verify the existence of nameserver ns1.mydomain.com which means that the name server is not registered with the proper registrar. Please contact the registrar for the name server you wish to use for more information.

You have to register ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com at your domain registrar too I guess ~

yea like at godaddy you put in the ip addresses in "Domain Host Summary" and the names like ns1.something.com and ns2.something.com and under "Nameservers Summary" put in ns1.something.com and ns2.something.com

    -something.com is the domain

ps. And Make Sure bind is working on the server

one time i didnt check if bind was working and it frustrated me a lot
