If your looking for a good free solution to a ticket system I would definitely checkout osTicket (http://www.osticket.com/) downloads are disabled due to their re-coding the new version 2, but you can still get the previous version from any Fantastico

I recommend ProSupport. It's fairly new, but has enough features to go live with. The upcoming update will add more to it. Support is also great. No complaints.

I haven't had any personal experience with prosupport but from the looks of the demo and site for $99 I don't think that can be beat!

Yes, for the price it really cannot be beat. But I would gladly pay more than $99 if I had to do it over again.

The desk is very easy to configure/skin, and support is great. I have yet to have any problems with the desk itself. All errors happen to be of my own doing I'm confident that if there is a bug, support will always take a stab at the problem, rather than ignore you. And that's worth more than their asking price (IMHO)...

They do offer a free demo I believe. I suggest anyone looking for a desk system give it a try. There's nothing to lose.

I've already used several helpdesk in the past, and cerberus is the best I've used so far.

Another vote for ProPanelSystems.... their software is called ProSupport ... Used cerberus but it was too intense -- propanel is exactly what i needed.

What I like about cerberus is that you can check how tickets a user have answered. This is very convenient if you're paying for someone per to answer support questions per ticket. Also, if there are several people answering support tickets, it shows the ticket number so people don't answer the same ticket twice.

I'm a huge fan of deskpro 1.3 if you can still find it. They really dropped the ball with version 2 but 1.3 is a dream to work with.

Kayako is your best choice honestly.

EdgePanel is great . Im using the free version and the pipe works but not in the greatest way. In my opinion EdgePanel can still be some competition to some new helpdesks.
