1) Do you use SATA or SCSI (what RPM?) drives on your host machines?

2) How many VEs are placed on each machine?

3) What is your average ticket response time?

1. We use 10k RPM SCSI drives.
2. There is a maximum of 8 on a VPS2 and a maximum of 16 on a VPS1.
3. Initial ticket response times are under 30 minutes depending on time of day. Phone are answered in under a minute.

Can i order custom software when ordering the Server? Like FreeBSD, PHP5, PostGreSQL.

I would like to know about the SSL issue. We have accounts with ViaVerio (very nice support but expensive) and on their VPS2 accounts, we cannot have more than 1 SSL Certificates due to how their VPS2 are setup. How many SSL Certificates can i have on a Virtual Server Plan I machine?

Bandwidth, is it calculated both In+Out or just the greater of the two?

I am assuming that Fully Managed would means if i have any Apache configuration problems/questions i can send in a ticket and have it done for me. If PHP 5 requires one of the dependency i would be able to have LiquidWeb install and configure it.

Do you install all the Zend Optimizer as well? Do you have support for Zend Engine II that's for PHP 5.0 and up?

How long is this offer going to last because we are basically deciding between Liquidweb and a2b2.com

Hi myleow,

Yes, the offer is still available. Our VPS accounts use CentOS Linux for the OS - we do not offer FreeBSD VPSs at the current time. You could request PHP5 and Postgresql to be installed after the VPS is set up. We can install Zend Optimizer as well.

Bandwidth is total bandwidth on VPS plans. As for SSL, this is likely because you were only given 1 IP. 4 IPs come standard with our VPS plans, so you would be able to install one SSL cert on each IP. Additional IPs are $0.50/IP per month.

Since LiquidWeb provide full management, i don't think it matters what OS we are using. You will be able to assist us in installing PHP dependencies, right? We are unfamiliar with CentOS and are used to pkg_add or just go into the ports and make install.
