how can i upgrade php in my server to php5.. with whm had a quickly way of do that?

You can build Apache through WHM using the "Update Apache" link (runs the buildapache script). Or you can log in to shell and type "/scripts/easyapache".

We had tried php5 on a couple of servers and had really bad experience .. I dont think it is that stable yet ...

Well thats what I think .. I have a weak devlopment background though

Our Senior Sys Admin does not recommend using PHP 5 on a production environment either, though some providers have been offering PHP 5 hosting for some time... I guess with a *decent* level of success.

If you are using PHP 4 , try upgrade to PHP 4.4.0, don't upgrade to 5, stability wise I have no complaints but there seems to be a lot of script not functioning well when we tried to upgrade. We only install PHP 5 on new machines.
