    Your Good Deed?

What good deed have you done today?

I helped some women who was lost. I didn't know where the place was, but I tried...does that count?

Oh, and as a whole new thread doesn't worthy this I thought I'd just add it onto this!

I got a birthday present today. My birthday was 4 months ago....but for chocolate ้clairs I'll wait...and a photo frame + a photo (for those of you who want to know it's of my and my godmother's aunt/friend's....Grandchild, neice? I can't remember, I can't even remember her name....but apparently she had a thing for me [too bad she lives in Canada!] oh, and we're on the wirrlys at Brighton Pier.

Helping someone out in need is the Aussie way.

Yesterday I'm slaving away on the puter when there's a knock on the computer room sliding door. There was a chap that ran out of petrol down the road. He asked for a lift to the nearest petrol station. I said sure, so we jump in the mrs's car (van) and he gets his petrol. We come back, and he's on his way, very appreciative. Nice chap too. We had a good chat.

So far today, none. But the day is still young so who knows I may yet do a good deed today.

Two already and I have hardly left the house today.

A worker on the house next door that needed power but had no access there. I got out an extension cord and plugged him in here.

A former tenant called asking if my apartment (a mother-in-law apt in my house) was available as she heard the last tenants had moved out. I told her it was now my office (where I'm typing this now) so wasn't available but reminded her of a mutual acquaintance that has several rental properties. I gave her his number.

These were very small things I did but they were a big help to the recipients.

BTW, the reason the former tenant was looking for a place is that she's separating from her husband. She is *very* cute and friendly. You might say, my third good deed was not hitting on her.

..or you might not say that.

I stopped and let a lady use my phone to call 411 to call a tow truck. Her tire went flat, and she didn't have a spare.

This happened the other day on my way back up to Duluth.
