mysql not connecting on cPanel server
Lets say I overwrote the /var/lib/mysql/mysql directory with one from another server on a cpanel box.... (accidentally)
running
/scripts/mysqlup --force
did not correct the problem...
mysql is running - but all sites using mysql are unable to connect...
what should I do?

Lets say I overwrote the /var/lib/mysql/mysql
the mysql files should be located at /var/lib/mysql .. and mysql version in both servers should be the same ..

they are - but inside of /var/lib/mysql is another mysql directory.
I thought that might mess things up if overwritten.
ANyhow - it was after the /var/lib/mysql files were copied over that the problem arose.
At this point - I restarted the servers and crosses fingers (sad I know)
and am now getting this error:
MySQL PID file could not be found
I had the datacenter fix something like this before - however they didn't enlighten me with the fix. So I'm waiting on them to check into it while also troubleshooting on my end to hopefully get it up back up sooner.

Got that fixed. It's starting now - /tmp permissions needed changing...
However, sites are not connecting at all. Both sites moved to this box and sites native to this box.
