    Exclamation Change username

Is it possible to have your username changed? If so, how? Do you send in an e-mail to the mods etc?

I've posted a helpdesk request to change user name. Still the right method? (Earlier thread posts are 5 years old, so just checking...)

Yup, still the correct way. It takes a bit of time (a low priority issue), but that's the method.

As stated, it is a low priority issue, and since there are only a few of us that can do those, it takes a while. No one is being intentionally ignored, it's just low on the really long list of things we do each day.

Understand it bear . Their is a mod that allows user to request a name change in usercp and then admin's can go through and check names and then just click OK to change it.

But that mod doesn't go and check for other issues and accounts, and cross reference old name changes and more, which is part of why it takes time to do. Though the act of changing a name is fairly trivial, researching to make sure nothing else needs attention isn't.

Since the question has been answered, and this is also taking up time that could well be spent on things like usernames, we will close this thread.
