    Dedicated servers with instant delivery

Which dedicated server providers offer instant delivery ? I know EV1 and 15 minuteservers do but I would like to know as many as possible so I can get a server immediately if one of my servers breaks down.

There aren't too many providers out there who offer instant server setup most likely due to fraud reasons.

If you can afford it just have a cheap dedidcated on standby pre-installed. If you leave it with the network down so it couldn't be hacked? Just an idea

Don't think many hosts can offer instant delivery for obvious reasons.

Even Fifteen Minute Servers only do "instant" set-up for existing customers who are verified as authentic. If you're a new customer there are checks that FMS carry out before they will commission any hardware for you.

I just thought restoring a server after a hard drive crash would take DAYS if you don`t get a server instantly.

    I mean:
    1. Setting up the new server (24 hours)
    2. Moving the backup files to the new servers (24 hours+)
    3. Restoring the backups on the new server (6 hours+)

I guess I will just set up a remote server with remote backups via Rsync. Then if a server dies I can immediately begin to restore the files without step one and two involved. Seems to be the only way to do it properly.

It's good to have instant setup for clients. The only thing is, it requires a peice of identification faxed etc.

LayeredTech's "Rapid Deploy" offer is a good option, too.

look carefully at 15minutes because they have to call you before you can make the first order, and this usually takes about 24h, so are 24h+15minutesservers

Like I said, this would involve a bit of identification.

A standby server is probably going to be your best bet.
