Have you checked your SPAM folder? New order confirmations often get placed into that folder. Also what domain are you trying to sign up with them?
If you have to operate your company behind the scenes or under a fake name, maybe it's time to leave the industry and start something fresh.

In the very first place, how you came to know about them. How did you contact them for your account set up.

    hmm,
I can't seem to pull up cat-hosting.com locally, or from nyc..
What contact information do you have for them? any and all would be appreciated...

What's the domain name you were trying to host with them?

    EDIT: Found this...
    Domain Name: CAT-HOSTING.COM
    Registrar: REGISTER.COM, INC.
    Whois Server: whois.register.com
    Referral URL: http://www.register.com
    Name Server: DNS01.GPN.REGISTER.COM
    Name Server: DNS02.GPN.REGISTER.COM
    Name Server: DNS03.GPN.REGISTER.COM
    Name Server: DNS04.GPN.REGISTER.COM
    Name Server: DNS05.GPN.REGISTER.COM
    Status: PENDINGDELETE
    Updated Date: 01-oct-2005

That second to last line doesn't sound too good to me.. I would love to know how you contacted them via website, etc, in the timeframe you specified, when the domain name was tagged to be deleted 5 days ago..

I'm going to blame that on 1, my stupidity - 2, my lack of glasses and 3, yeah I'm done now.

Did you happen to sign up with an email address that your host is going to handle? I once signed up with [email protected], my host setup my account, and I didn't get confirmation and login details because they were sent to my newly created account. Oops, my fault.

Try emailing them from another account (Hotmail, Gmail, etc.) and see if you get a reply. In my case I emailed the host from my Hotmail address and they forwarded my details there. I provided a handful of details in my original email to prove I was the customer. You might try doing the same.

    Omega_888,

Could you please email support[at]cats-computing.com with your full name so we are able to assist you further.

Have you attempted to contact us before this?

Do as CTG above has suggested, it might help.

If that is not the case, contact your credit card company (if you paid using a CC) and do a chargeback. Did you read anywhere on their website about how long it takes for accounts to be setup? You might want to do a little search on that

    Best of luck!

    Sir,

I have found your account. It appears as though PayPal failed to passback the information that you had paid your account.

Your account has been activated, and I will be issuing a partial refund. We apologise about this

Paypal notified me within two minutes that transaction went successfully and money hit your account. I have over 200 Paypal transactions and I never had bad luck.
Yesterday I sent you request to close my account and send me a refund. Did you get it? If not - please consider this post as a second request.
    Thank you

    To all,
THank you very much for your posts. I appreciate your help and advises. This forum works and members are concerned about "bad apple"

Omega, i can confirm with cats hosting as i had a client who purchased through paypal and it took over 2 hours for the IPN to kick in! he put through a ticket and i manually processed the account because i saw it in my paypal account he indeed did pay but the IPN (the thing that tells the billing software you've paid) didnt go through...

Paypal looks like they've done upgrades to the service recently to get over this but yesterday it was absolutly up to crap.

    Oztiks,
there is a huge difference between 2 hours and 2 days.
By the way, it's been 14 hours since my last e-mail to them - no answer yet.
