Can't wait for the match though, the game mid-week in the Champions League between us was awsome, even if it remained goaless.

I think mid-week, we honestly were the better team and really we should have won, but I do worry about our strikers at the moment, Benitez plays Cisse on the wing for so he can play a 4-5-1, but in my opinion he should be up front with Crouch/Morientes in a 4-4-2.

I can't really see why we play 5 in midefield and lose a striker because of it, at the end of the day were not scoring goals. And its not like we have a weak midfield, with imo the best passer of the ball in Europe in Xabi Alonso and of course Steven Gerrard and the rest of em.

I think it will be very quiet with regards to goals, it will either be a 1-0 win for either teams or a 1-1 draw - ands thats if we are lucky. Both teams are far too solid defensively.

By the way, for anyone interested, its on Sky Sports 1 and kick off is 4pm.

They have just announced the team and now they have dropped Cisse and Riise on instead.

I really cannot understand a 5 man midfield, at a time when we are not doing well up front.

Liverpool 1 - 4 Chelski - The first time we have conceeded 4 goals at home since 1969.

What an absolute disaster, we handed them the first goal with a stupid challenge on Drogba by Traore.

Gerrard stunned them by scoring a great goal on a corner not too long afterwards and then we really started pushing.

Then Chelsea hit us with another goal a few minutes before half time and thats when we totally fell apart.

Yet again, Benitez has messed up the team in the league. I am pretty sure he just wants to win cup competitions and does not care about the league.

All the fans are begging him to go 4-4-2 but he insists we are better at 4-5-1 - and that has proved our worst start for 13 years!

I DONT want to be the European Champions again if it means we cannot win that all important 19th English league title.

Yes we have won the European Cup 5 times, and are the 3rd best team ever in Europe, but we live for the English title, we are the undisputed best team ever in the histroy of English football, but its been far far too long since we won the English league.

We have won absolutely everything since 1990 but the one thing we have not won is the league and I am really worried about where Benitez is going to take us now, he does not seem to realise that when a team isnt scoring, it is far better to play two strikers then one.

And Cisse is not a winger or a midifelder, he is an out and out striker, so why not play him forward? Also, he has spoken publicly of his dislike of playing as a lone striker, but yet again Benitez won't listen!

Our championship hopes are over, our season is pretty much over imho if we do not get back up there and start challenging for the one thing every fan wants! Im not saying I expect to win the league (especially with moneybags Chelski spending £100million a season to keep on top), but I expect to challenge at least!

I was thinking how do a team win against a 4-5-1 formation of Chelsea? Don't allow Chelsea to lead the scorelines. Once they lead, they are willing to sit back and scoring is impossible.

Therefore, if I were to blame, the fault lied in Traore for the needless penalty and Hyypia for been deceived by Drogba for the second goal.
