Too much down time

My current reseller host is down about 99.9% of the time. I am looking (like everyone else) for a datacenter that is RELIABLE. I need a unix - RELIABLE - reseller.

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Thank you

Who is your current host? You may also want to post a bit more of a description of what you are looking for? space/bw specifications, control panel, stuff like that.

Hosts won't be able to make offers to you here but you may get some recommendations, also check the offers sections and do research on any hosts you find that meet your requirements.

You mean you only have 1% uptime? That is terrible.

I am wondering why you created two accounts to ask the same thing?

Yes, elix right.

I mean 0.1% uptime? I think this is impossible unless the server is offline or something.

What is your domain hosted with them?

0.1% uptime is horrible, assuming this is based on more then 4-7 hours.

There is no possibility that host is only online for 0.01%, if this is true than they are closing anytime. A host that down for more than 5% is already consider very bad. You should transfer your account wihout any delay.

Wrong. If a host is down for 10 minutes out of a 10 minute time span and you judge your host by that 10 minutes, then that means they've been down 100% of the time. Example situations.

Example
Sept 30 11:59PM Server goes down
October 1st 2:01AM Server comes back up.

And if you were to take a measurement of the uptime at 2:02AM for the month of October the downtime would be around 99%.

Thus why I asked the time frame the OP was basing this on.

P.S. yeah yeah I know, most people won't do that, but this IS WHT.

Fuuly agree, what mentioned by jmweb is absolutely right. the downtime should be measures on monthly and yearly basis not daily. If the host down for few days in a month, then it is consider very bad. But if the host have a good track records of never down the few years but suddently down for 1 full days, this we call it isolated cases. In average many host have a uptime of 99.9% in a months except in certain emergency cases.
