It is not only unprofessional - its stupid.
It really annoys me when I see words on ads spelt incorrectly.
It is not only unprofessional - its stupid. (Unless the spelling mistake is designed to draw attention to the ad - in which case I've just helped the adverstiser out! )
Especially when the main word representing these forums is mis-spelt!! Are you like me? Does it annoy you when you see spelling mistakes in places that should have been thouroughly checked? or does it not really annoy you that much?

Not when it's an informal post on WHT - but if it was a professional ad then i'd be damn sure to check.

Actually it is a very helpful time saving ad. Instead of wasting my time reading further I am able to make a decision instantaniously. I mean why would anybody entrust there good name by dealing with people that can't spell or can't be bothered hiring somebody to do the job properly.

Agreed but We Humans sometimes make mistakes 
Sometimes when we work so hard our eyes really misses those smalle typos

I actually clicked the attachment before I read the post, and I didn't notice the typo. But I did notice awful that red line underneath it looks. Was that actually part of the ad or did you put that in afterwards?

Hate to bring this to your attention, but both forms are correct. British generally use the form spelt, while Americans prefer spelled.
