Best Dedicated Server Provider?
Hi,
After doing a lot of search and re-serach I still haven't been able to find out who is the best dedicated server provider that has a balanced approach towards pricing, quality and support.
Whenever I decide to go and buy the server from a provider, I then get to hear something bad either about quality or support and I get more confused. This question might sound novice to the experts and gurus here but I am really having problems selecting a dedicated server provider.
The main objective for buying servers for me is that I want to start a web hosting business and I would be targetting international market. I hope that you would be able to provide all the necessary help and suuport for a business like mine.
Please advise
Best Regards

There is no ultimate perfect provider. Every provider has some sort of flaws. There's only what's perfect for you.

Managed, Unmanaged... ?
Check the offers section or do a search. Pick out a few providers and then do searches on them for reviews.

There is no best really. Even if the dedicated server provider is great but if you don't know what you are doing, you will look at them like a nightmare.
So, there is actually 2 ways... GoodLuck!

Hi,
I have done a lot of research here and everywhere else as well but still it's either a newbie inside me or the fear of unknown that doesnt let me move forward and eventually buy the server.
I would request you all whoever reads this, please share your thoughts about your server provider regarding these:-
1:- Pricing
(I seriously beleive that "Good things are not cheap and Cheap things are not good". So I am not asking you to tell me the cheapest servers available)
2:- Quality
3:- Customer Service/After Sale Service
Thanks to all of you in advance

You still need to decide on "managed" or "unmanaged" .. that makes a big determiner with cost and who you go with.

Not everything that is cheap, is bad. Example, a used 1995 Honda Civic costs you $4,000. A brand new BMW costs you $40,000. That Honda Civic will probably last you longer than that BMW because of the efficiency it is made with. (Again im not being specific here, just using an example). You can get good cheap service, just depends on how cheap you go. Remember, cheap is a relative term.

i'm sorry but servint can not qualify as among the best dedicated servers provider as long as its transit providers are BTN and Deutsche Telekom. Their support is great but they need a real network with a couple of Tier 1 providers.
I have been burned multiple times by their network, so i speak from experience.

I have had a near-perfect experience with Datapipe but they are expensive.
datacenter, uptime, support, network are all first-class.

There is no best and there is no worst each company has several excellent points and every company has there flaws so it's very hard to answer that question.
You could get 3 people with good reviews for one company, and then 2 people giving a bad review; and it makes things confusing, but there are good companies out there.

Hi,
I agree to your point 100% that there might be good and bad points in each one of them.
I am trying to have the opinion of most of the experienced people in the business and after I have got enough reviews on it, I shall go with the majority.
