I am currently looking for a remote tech/support job.
I have over 3 years experience with webhosting and about 7 years of Internet experience.
I'm experienced with customer relations (ie. account setups, ftp/telnet problems), cgi script debugging, html help, software installation and various system administration task (ie. Apache/Mysql/Perl/PHP upgrades). I'm also familiar with Cobalt RAQ servers, as well as control panels such as Webmin, Plesk, and Cpanel.
My main expertise in support relations would be cgi debugging, particularly in Perl. I originally authored a support request system back in 1999, called
WebSupport, which is still being used by some web hosting companies worldwide. It was sold to a web hosting company late last year.
