how much do you make from you sedo parked domain?

I'm trying to determine if it's even worth the time.

Thanks.

Domainsponsor and Regfly parking program seem to be earning the most for me. Sedo's payouts are not that great

Worth the time? Actually I think that the parking is one of the easiest and less time consuming ways to earn money. Of course if you have the domain names with natural traffic.

Some people earn $1-2 from each domain per month, others earn thousands.

Very true, You can take a domain name that cost 1.25 (.info) and make 80-200 a year so the profit is quite large. When you register tens of thouands your revenue and profit really skyrockets

What criteria do you use to detemine which parking program to use? Do you base it solely on payout amount.

Thanks.

Mostly based on payout amount and frequency of payouts. Things such as reports and templates although fine are not as important as how much money you are making

Does either Domainsponsor and Regfly let you try to sell your domain as you are parking it (like sedo.com does)?

One should investigate the domain name traffic thoroughly and then make the decision where to park the domain name. The more targetted traffic you have, more click through rate you will get, which means you will earn more.

True, if you have names with a fairly high type in traffic the difference in payouts is quite apparent. If you have little traffic they all pay mostly the same (very little)

How does one go about determining/measuring domain name traffic?

Is it from sites like overture.com?

There are many methods to measure the traffic. You can put a counter on your site, but it will only provide basic information.

The recommended way would be to use Statistics software like: Awstats which is free

Without buying hosting service, how much can you do with a parked domain site to make it generate traffic?
Here's my parked page:
http://www.martingrumet.net
Except for seeing an example of a parked page that has no money spent on it beyond registry and privacy, I doubt that anyone would bother to visit it.

The key is to get names with existing traffic
