As many of you might know HostingCon 2005 went very well for FastServers.Net, not only did we promote our business we also got to spend a lot of time with some of our vendors building relationships. Personally, I was very relieved once the show was over as a lot of hard work went into many details of the show.
After the show we took a small break and let things settle, then out of nowhere we heard the announcement HostingCon 2006 was being held in Las Vegas. Without hesitation we wanted to be the first to renew our commitment to this convention as we not only believe it was a success for us, but for a majority of the attendees.
We have started the planning stages of our production for 2006 and while we are not ready to release the final details, we can say that we are putting the "casino" theme to rest (at least for 2006) as it would be crazy to bring "sand to a beach" -- aka bringing our booth to Vegas.
In the upcoming months we will release more information, we have some communication with vendors, HostingCon event organizers, and a few loose ends to tie up.
We are very convinced by spending valuable time with the HostingCon coordinators that this show will be everything HostingCon 2005 was + more and could wait to sign the paper work. We very much look forward to meeting/greeting the rest of you in Las Vegas and hope that you too have the ability to sign up in advance and demonstrate your overall commitment to a convention and market segment that needs and deserves attention from the rest of the world.
