Local Php Configuration

Can we do local php configurations? (In phpinfo there is two config options one is master the other is local) That means can we apply different php configurations for different virtual hosts in a server.

My Current Server Configuration:
* Plesk 7.5.4
* Fedora Core 1
* Apache 2.0
* Php 4.3.8

Thanks

Yes we can have different php configuration for virtual hosts

Most of them depends on the PHP configuration set in master php.ini

I think the best example is upload max and max execution time

But how do I do that? I know changing php variable with a php function ini_set(); ! But I want a server-side configuration to change local value. How can we do that?

it works on cpanel I am not sure about plesk. On cpanel you can do it using .htaccess

php_value variablename =(sometimes not needed) value

example

php_value register_globals on/off
