Recommend an ssl Cert for modernbill/cc processing

I'm looking for an inexpensive ssl certificate to use with modernbill for credit card processing and other sensitive user information. i would like a cert that has a seal that we could display on our site to promote customer confidence and some kind of assurance with it. any suggestions?

There is nothing I love better than to see people help fund their competition

I wonder sometimes with the ultra low prices ev1servers offers on some of these items if they aren't selling at a loss just to attract possible dedicated server customers.

Might have a winner here.

All about volume. You buy enough, you can get them at a very good discount. I bet they only pay about $5 or less for those StarterSSL and then look at their markup. It is still a lot cheaper than what Starter sells them.

Plus - buying them from EV1, StarterSSL does not have to do billing, worry about chargebacks, etc. EV1 is just reselling - which is what a lot of hosting companies do. Makes pretty good sense actually.

I'm sure they get a great price, but I still think they sell some of their certs for a loss. I'm not knocking the practice, it obviously works for getting their name out there.
